VISION
MISSION
FIRE. ONE TEAM. ONE MISSION.
Our history
Since 2022, Fire and Rescue Training Centre is registered as a Technical and Vocational College by TVETA. Its three courses: Pump Operator, Water Rescuer and Technical Rescuer received TVETA licences.
Fire and Rescue Training Centre, Kenya (FIRETRACK Centre) was founded with the aim to improve and strengthen the capacity of the Fire Service in Kenya.
This is the place where Polish, Kenyan and international experts exchange their experiences, conduct training in the field of firefighting and rescue as well as test new and innovative technological solutions.
The FIRETRACK Centre was constructed by the Polish Centre for International Aid (PCPM) between 2018 and 2020 thanks to the Polish aid funding – a development assistance programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
Since then it has been operated by PCPM, and the local partnering Chief Fire Officers Association, Kenya (CFOA-K) in collaboration with the County of Kiambu.
